The Centre of Excellence and the Nursing Department at the Kurdistan Technical Institute organized a workshop for Nursing Department students.
The Centre of Excellence for Training and
International Development, in coordination with the Nursing Department at the
Kurdistan Technical Institute, organized a workshop for Nursing Department
students entitled “current way for dressing wounds especially negative pressure
machine.”
It is worth mentioning that the workshop
was delivered by the trainer and nursing instructor M. Hardi Hassan, who holds
a Master’s degree and several certifications in wound care.
During the workshop, detailed information
was presented about modern wound-care methods and the equipment used in
treatment—especially Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT)—as well as the
creams and supplies commonly used today, such as alginate, foam dressings, Silicone
gel, Hydrogel, Medi honey cream, and many other topics.
At the end, participants had the opportunity to try the device themselves. They received both practical and theoretical training on how to use it and its benefits. Finally, in a formal ceremony, the participating students received their certificates of participation from the Centre of Excellence
