Seminar
Stress, Oral Health, and Students: How Emotional Pressure Affects the Dental Health of Learners
KTI
The Center of Excellence, in
collaboration with the Dental Assistance Department, conducted a joint seminar
for 9th-grade students at the Kurd Genesi (2) Educational Community.
The purpose of this seminar was to raise awareness about the effects of
psychological stress on the dental health of students (9th grade). The seminar
aimed to help students and educators understand how academic and emotional
pressure can lead to oral health problems such as tooth wear, gum irritation,
enamel weakening, and mouth ulcers.
Through this seminar, participants
learned about:
*The
relationship between mental well-being and oral and dental health
*Common
stress-related dental issues and how they affect students’ daily performance
*Practical
self-care guidelines and stress-management strategies to protect both mental
health and oral health
In conclusion, this seminar
represents an effort to improve students’ overall well-being and to highlight
the importance of a healthy mind as a foundation for healthy teeth and a
healthy learning environment.
