Centre of Excellence at Kurdistan Technical Institute organized a two-day workshop for (Dr. Mohammed Hamid Zanga) and (M. Gona Kamal Ali) on Sunday and Monday 21-9 and 22-9-2 

(Workshop on The Role of Forensic Thanatochemistry and Entomology through Dual Pathways in Estimating the Postmortem Interval.) The objective of this workshop was to:

1) Determine the cause, time and date of the crime.

2) Identify crimes that occur with children and the elderly.

3) Identify cases where bodies have been raped and died.

4) Knowing the cause of suicide.

All this through criminal insect science.
